So Im planning to demo my concrete back steps to my house and install wood steps.
I need a building permit to do this and im being asked to provide a cross section drawing of the new steps
with the size and depth of the footings, a detail of the tread, risers and handrails with a 3'X5' landing at my door exit.
since i dont do arch work, im hoping someone can help me out and post a sample dwg that I can use and alter.
the risers are 7" and the treads are 11" but I dont know what the size and depth of the footings are for my local area but I can alter that when i find out.
so if anyone has a sample dwg they can share, I would greatly appreciate it
