BricsCAD anyone
« on: July 07, 2015, 11:07:53 PM »
Looking to move up from ACAD 2006. Looks like BricsCAD Pro @ $650 is about the best value.
Anyone seen BricsCAD Pro v15 any less expensive?

Less expensive ! Compare pricing to AutoCad 2015 Vanilla....and Bricscad includes sheet metal functions and BIM in their meger $650/seat pricing.

HaHa, glad to see your updating to Bricscad...

There was a time when Novedge had discounts on BricsCAD but it seems to be gone from their site now.

It looks as if sheet metal is only available with the Platinum version...

One of the developers is on here and I have to say its quite remarkable at the turn-around time for patches and bugfixes. That alone makes it quite appealing. Would like to see digital signing and certificates, one day soon I hope.

existing users get a discount on new licenses for giving referrals. Maybe someone here is looking to buy new license and comp you?

Our company switched to BricsCad about 5 years ago (70 Licenses). Customer support is great and the Lisp Engine is very fast (OpenDCL works great with BricsCad btw).
We had some Problems with ACE Objects in the beginning but with Version 15 it's not a big deal anymore.

Looking to move up from ACAD 2006...BricsCAD Pro....
I migrated from ACAD 2006 some years back to BCad Pro v13, and upgraded to v14.
Haven't looked back, no regrets.
