Logging Lisp routines

What are some of you doing to keep track of the various lisp routines that you use? Some type of lisp manager? Excel? Access database?

I am looking for a way to document routines, would be great if it was internal to AutoCad but outside would be adequate.

A searchable description that would allow users to type in some keywords and returns a list of routines that meet the requirement.

This would also give start-up commands, a list of dependant files that would be required, a quick description of how to use it or what it does.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I made a help file, mainly for the search functions :).  The program I used called is helpMATIC Pro HTML......it is very easy to create help files with this program.
