Civil guys question
« on: April 12, 2005, 11:32:45 AM »
Hey for civil techs.

My question is, do you know what you are suppose to show and label Typically on plans? (genericlly speaking) just the general stuff?

It would include all plans from
cover sheet
site
utility
grading
erosion control

etc.

thanks!

Here in Florida we have "Minimum Technical Standards" to follow. You might try asking the resident surveyor, he'll know of any standards that must be followed in your state. Of course if you're not in the US, then "never mind..."

In addition to Mark's suggestion of checking on local reqirements, here is a short list of what we try to provide for these types of plan in addition to what is required.  This list as made quickly and is certainly missing some things so anyone who wants to point out any obvious omissions, please add them on.
