Topic: Civil 3d: section view grade labels - text to always be atop directional arrow

I've created a Grade Section View label that will let me pick two points and it will show a directional arrow based on my picked points, with a label. This works perfectly, except that if the label is drawn from right to left, it displays over the text and left to right displays under the text (like I want). I have the text anchored to the middle of the directional arrow component, and the text is using bottom center attachment. I'd rather not create a separate label for the two directions.

Honestly, all I want is a way to have a directional arrow with text atop it that I can edit for misc. labels that are tied to my cross sections, rather than using MText or something.
