zooming issue when sitching to ms

i have some dwgs with a problem.
when i switch to modelspace it zoom out strange.
other problem, somehow the undo function does not work anymore.
what is this? setvars? or dwg compability?

It's hard to say from such limited information.

What version of AutoCAD?

Can you describe the type of drawing that you do? 2D, 3D, XREFs, out of the box, heavily customized, etc.

Are the files created entirely in house?

Does this happen to all drawings? If not, post one that is exhibiting the behavior.
