AutoCAD material mapping and LISP
« on: March 10, 2021, 10:51:28 AM »
Ok hello to all the curious people here.
So as I have been using AutoCAD for 3D technical drawing, and have learned some LISP, I came across a problem not discussed very much on the internet. As I put textures on 3dsolids in AutoCAD, if an object is not rectangular, the textures can be rotated in a wierd angle, and I am trying to think can we have multiple 3d solids selected and apply a materialmap from one object and apply them to selected objects? Or type in coordinates of the materialmap box?
Thanks in advance. I have never found a topic about this.

I recall that this thread contains a tool similar to that which you have described.
