Can we have some freebies?
« on: October 16, 2013, 10:06:16 AM »
Anyone from Autodesk out there? Can TheSwamp have some Autodesk goodies to give away? T-shirts, backpacks, ball caps, etc.. Maybe even some software!

Thanks! :-)

Not from AutoDesk, but somewhere in my shed there is a set of 360k floppies to install r10 for DOS (my greatest dumpster dive find fro 20  some years ago), a black NAAUG XXL t-shirt (faded to #8 gray) and my prized r13 comerative drool cup that held a prominent place on my desk for nearly a decade.

They could add a few more orders to the Autodesk University items they hand out.

Yeah, you'd think that in all the years this site has basically promoted AutoDesk, they'd be willing to give back a little. Not. Holding. Breath.

Actually, this site has promoted improving ones skills, while regularly beating up Autodesk for poor customer service, lack of reaction to user reported bugs, deceptive business practices, and a while bunch of other user complaints.

Quite honestly, I would be quite surprised if Autodesk would even consider providing comps.

But that is just my opinion.

I considered that. The act of using the tools they provide, and helping to learn how to use those tools is, in itself, a form of promotion.

I'll take a seat of Inventor, so long as it's not "Fusion"  :-D I could stand to brush up on my familiarity with Inventor.
