Any cards, letters, whatever can be sent to:

Richard Sincovec c/o
Edward-James Surveying
2764 Janitell Road
Colorado Springs, CO 80906

His dad, Jim, is the James in the company so he will be sure to get them to Richard. He's told me this is probably the easiest/best way to do so.

I am revising this at Jim's request. Please see the new address in a post by me on Dec. 19 in this thread.

I will remind everyone that the doctors originally said that he would not make it through that first awful night. They were wrong then. Now is the time to really pray for Sinc. Even if you do not believe in that stuff, it can't hurt. Me. I believe. I believe prayer got him through that initial night and i believe it can work again. Bad news is no reason to stop the efforts. just means you have to increase your efforts. It ain't over until it's over.

Well, no miracles this time. At approx. 7:45 p.m MST, 12/18/12, Richard left us for the everafter. I know, from seeing all of the posts here at theSwamp & on the Autodesk forums and speaking with others at AU, he will be greatly missed.

Richard, thanks for first helping me on the old newsgroups and the Swamp forums, then becoming 'net friends, and finally meeting face to face and allowing me to have some input with the SincpacC3D. I learned a lot from you every step of the way, and I will continue to grow from it.

R.I.P. good friend.

Damn!
Met him a couple years ago at AU and way too young for this.
