Adjusting the gap of Multileader framed text?
« on: December 22, 2009, 04:48:58 PM »
So I've got these MLeaders that we're using to identify mechanical equipment on our drawings. I'm creating these MLeader styles with Lisp but we've got a small issue. The text on these leaders needs to have a frame around it and the distance between the text frame and the actual text is way too close. I can get the desired effect with a QLeader style but have been trying to find a way to adjust that gap distance somehow, with no luck. I've attached a screenshot of what I'm talking about, in case I'm not making much sense. I haven't been able to find any solution and figured I would ask in here.

The leader on the top is the MLeader and the one on the bottom is a QLeader.

And, to answer the question you're probably asking yourself right now; We've got a lot of leaders on these drawings. Keeping the text associated with the frame/leader, and having the frame adjust if/when the text is edited, is a pretty big deal. If there is a way to do that with QLeaders, I'm unaware of it.  :ugly:

Any help is appreciated.

Looking for something related to this lead me to this post.

Try DIMGAP if you haven't already.  I know it's an old post... maybe that variable didn't exist back then...
