AutoCAD Cannot close

AutoCAD Cannot close - there is a command still active

NO THERE IS NOT!!!

I thought i seen the light at the end of the tunnel. But it was just someone with a torch bringing me more work.

Make sure all other dwgs are closed.

yep they are...only 1 drg open.

Do you have a VBA command that you crashed out of?  I get this when I lose my link to excel, and Autocad wont close.

hit escape about a dozen times and then try to close ... I have had the same problem ....

I have a 22 oz. Eastwing that will take care of that problem every time. :twisted:

hmmm interesting.

If you type exit at the command line it will let me close out of it then, but esc does nothing.

If your drawing is saved, you can ctrl/alt/del and kill the autocadd process.

Nope seems to crash out of a command..though none in particular seems to be the cause

You could always saveas a different name, close, delete the offending dwg and rename the new one.

Have blamed it on the network and am now getting a 1Gb network conx. maybe this will sort the problem out!!

So far, haven't found the problem/why but using [ _.qsave  close ] < +made a short on top, has saved me many a time!!
