SSM, Views, and Viewport Layer Control
« on: April 21, 2011, 01:22:20 PM »
Posted this at CADTutor and didn't get any responses so thought I'd try my luck over here.

When dragging over a Modelspace View onto a newly created sheet in the SSM, is there a way to automatically designate it to a particular layer of choice, such as the G-Anno-Nplt layer? Just looking for a way to take an extra step out of this process. Thanks in advance.

Save your sheet template with the 'wanted' layer as current (CLAYER) :-)

Hmm. Never thought of that. Makes sense though.... the first thing I do when I create a new sheet is place a view. Good tip! Thanks  :kewl:
