Survey Data Collection

For anyone who is in the cad survey field crew area.

We have just bought a TDS Ranger and we are using Survey Pro.

Right now our process is to export the RAW data into a field book and then into our survey drawing.

We also have our old data collector which is a Husky FS2 which they say is quicker than the ranger with windows survey pro....

we do use line work from hitting the (*) on the screen when topoing shots and tell it to BEG END C2 C3 etc.

Are there quicker ways to topo than the way I have mentioned above...
What tequines are out there... What do you do?

Some mentioned the BATCH submenu under Data Collection / Link

How does that work?

thanks guys!

Your current methods are the fastest. If you have the BEGIN and END done correctly and have your figure prefix library set up correspondingly, then all of your line work should be done when you insert the field book file. A matter of seconds. (The begin and end replace "batch sequences".)
If you do this and also have your descriptor keys set up and running, there is no faster way to do this that I have seen yet.
This system gives you the ability to have your line work and blocks all done in a matter of minutes. I don't see how you can improve on that.
