Gentlemen
For some reason my object snap icons have dissapeared! Is there some kind of setting that needs to be re-set?

Are you talking about the icons on a Toolbar or Status bar, or are you talking about the actual Snap Icons within the drawing model? You can toggle the OSnap feature by hitting the F3 key. See if that yields the results you're after.

The cursor icon to indicate which snap will occur (ex. a perpendicular line snp)

The object snap is working it is just that the cursor icon has dissapeared like an endpoint snap or a perp snap etc...

if you tap the tab key

you should be shown not only the Snap being applied it will also indicate what object the snap is being applied to

Is it possible that the options have become deselected?

Is CAD working to your liking right now?
If YES, go back into OPTIONS and save, then export your current GOOD Profile to someplace safe.
Then when things go awry, you can IMPORT that profile you just saved, set it current, and move on.

This is an excellent tip to follow on a regular basis. I've made it part of my backup routine. I don't know how many times my profile has become corrupted and I'm left sitting there for 30-45 minutes figuring out and resetting my profile...and it's never 100% again. :realmad: :-)
