Cannot explode lwpolyline

I am not sure if this is the right forum to post.
I encounter a problem where I could not explode a block or lwpolyline. Is there any settings for exploding objects.

Try EXPERT. Don't have time to look it up.

That's not it, try explmode.

 (setvar "explmode" 1) ; allow non-uniformly scaled blocks
