But of course C3D crashes often ... with LARGE data sets. *sigh*

it is suggested that the INSTANT you get that DEM surface into a file you immediately start to use a data shortcut to it.....it may not help...however that is what THEY say should be done with 'large' data sets

Oh, C3D doesn't crash very often...

I just looked at my log file, and it only crashed twice for me yesterday, and eight times last week...   :roll:
