i was just wondering what these files are for. i want to delete them is that smart or dumb?

Don't think it matters. Open one up in notepad and see what new world you uncover. You might find something you like or you might find the variable to turn this feature off within options in autocad. Who knows.

yeah it just says print to blah blah. can't find how to disable it in autocad, anybody? i can not delete them either get this message:

Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk.

Maybe I need to discuss this with the IT guy  :roll:

You should be able to turn it off under the Plot Stamp->Advanced sub-menu in the plot dialog box.

That should do it Cadaver. Huh, I must've cornfused the plot.log with logfilename. Anyway, they're similar and if anybody's interested in keeping that one off, check options.

hmmm i set it but it's ghosted out must have to change it in the IT closet @#@^@#@#^#

Save the plot stamp to a new name and the button should become available.
