Plotting AutoCad 2000 dwg in 2005lt
« on: November 10, 2004, 12:22:40 PM »
I sent an Autocad 2000 dwg to a consultant who has upgraded to Autocad 2005LT, Part fo the dwg. is misseed( some lines and text) everytime he plots Autocad 2000 dwg. on HP 450.
I even saved as it R14/LT97/ LT98, still  missed part of the dwg.I had it printed on 2000, no problem, even a printing shop had no problem., that means dwg is not corrupt.
He called Autodesk and was told that because the security level in 2005LT is set so high, 2000 dwg will not be possible to plot with 2005LT.I find it absurd.Nevr heard this before.

Any ideas how to solve this PROBLEM please.

Thanks

Send it to his as a .dxf just for plotting purposes or even a .pdf file.  Can load the drawing in 2005LT and see everything?? If so, have him wblock the drawing out, then load that and try to plot it.

Does the drawing have any 3D in it at all??  LT is strictly 2D if I remember correctly..
