In 2004 and 2005, sometimes the Layout shows up as if it was plotted (it shows as gray scale and not in color) but most of the time it shows up normal (with all the objects colors). Does anyone know what's going on?

Hi

Within the Page Setup Dialog Box is the following Tick Box checked -

Plot Device Tab -> "Display Plot Styles" within the Plot Style Table (Pen Assignments) area

If yes, that is the cause of the problem.

If no, get back to us and I'll have another guess.

With the above I've assumed the Page Setup Dialog Box in AutoCAD 2005 is the same as AutoCAD 2002 (haven't got AutoCAD 2005 in front of me until I get home).

Have a good one, Mike

I am currently using 2005, and there is only one screen now (the two tabs have been combined into one). The "Display Plot Styles" check box is no longer there.

Is there a command prompt address to access it?

Hi

I will take a look when I get home, in the meantime have a quick look / search within the AutoCAD Online Help File [F1].

OR

Hopefully someone else will answer in the meantime.

Have a good one, Mike

if you right click on the layout tab.
select page setup manager.
Once this appears, select which layout you would like to modify.
then hit modify.
this will bring up the page setup dialog box for whichever layout you selected.
in the upper right hand corner of the box, there will be a box that asks
to Disply Plot Styles. It also lets you select which ctb you would like.
stb's if you are in that mode.

that should do it.

Thanks for the location description.

I thought I had seen it somewhere in 2005, but couldn't remember where.
