when dragging object not visible

i know this is a setting but can't think of which. if i select an object then go to move it the object isn't visible until i place it. how do i make it visible?

Set dragmode to auto.  :D

yes thanks ron i was thinking it was that. i've been working on a startup script which was setting it to off i guess will have to update that presh
