...following shortcut in the search were onvalid and ignored: z:\...\Add-A-Plot Style Wizard.Ink

Any one have a quick solution before a dig farther into this problem  :?:

I have checked both the registry and autocad search paths in the option menu.

Any help wouold be greatly appreciated!

ronjonp:
Try copying the shortcut from your local drive to the to the z drive specified.

--- Code: ---C:\Documents and Settings\*\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2005\R16.1\enu\Plotters
--- End code ---

--- Code: ---C:\Documents and Settings\*\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2005\R16.1\enu\Plot Styles
--- End code ---

whdjr:
Find the exe file for the Wizard and copy it to your folder on the Z drive.

SPDCad:
Unfortunetly niether option mentioned above will work.
For one the z:\..... already contains the shortcut and the path is correct in the option menu for the pmp/plot stlyes and plotter.
The 'Add-A-Plot Style Wizard" shortcut located on the z drive is the same shortcut as in the user directory under 'documents and settings' locate don 'c:'

So the problem still stands.

Thanks ronjonp and whdjr for the help thou.

Another option: Make sure the custom path is higher on the "files" list than the original acad location.   A side thought is did you relocate the drv folder location?  I had some problems when I did that once.
