(C3D '09) Quick Sections?

Is there a tool in C3D that does "Quick Sections" like there was in LDT?

View/Edit Corridor Section, Haven't been in LDT in a long time so I'm not quite sure if this is what you are looking for.

Yes

draw a line or poly line
select it
rt-click
select Quick Profile from the menu....

and ignore that other post.... ;)

Draw a line, polyline, whatever, right-click and selet Quick Profile. Pick styles if you want to and then click a point to draw the profile view on the screen.

Remember, it's temporary, so when you save, that profile view will disappear.

Edit: Have to hit the submit button faster....

Mark the Temporary Quick Profile can be made to be Permanent by Exporting the profile through XML, and then reimporting it to the file.

Yes

Draw a line, polyline, whatever, right-click and selet Quick Profile. Pick styles if you want to and then click a point to draw the profile view on the screen.

You should be in this class today; wherein I have heads exploding from all the new information I'm filling them with.  :-D :roll:

It's a great group of folks from a Water Conservation District in NY, and some NRCS folks.
