Change Color of an Entity BYBLOCK in Command Line
« on: February 04, 2009, 10:33:28 AM »
I have trying during 2 weeks to change by COLOR line command a entity color BYBLOCK like SETBYLAYER does for later AutoCADs.

I didn't get any positive result yet. Can I make this or I'm kicking a "dead cat" ? :-(

Thanks in advance.

Issue

Using AutoLISP® or another customization method, you want to specify the color of an object using the numeric value for that color. Specifically, you want to know the numeric values to assign color ByBlock and ByLayer.

Solution

The numeric values to assign color ByBlock and ByLayer are as follows:

ByBlock             Color number 0 (zero)
ByLayer             Color number 256

 here kitty, kitty...
