My old room mate always used to say "I'm off like a prom dress."

You mean she told you to come home and you still took the time to post this?  What, are you crazy?!

I've got DBLCLKEDIT turned ON, PICKFIRST set to 1, all of the settings/commands for double-click actions in the CUI appear to be in order, yet when I double-click on a piece of text, or mtext (for example), I see *Cancel* flash at the command line a few times, then I'm prompted to select the object I double-clicked on to edit in the first place.  I'm baffled.  Any one have any ideas?

Only not working on (M)Text, or not working on anything? Type (arx) on the command line, what do you get? Is there an arx named "*dblclk*.arx"? (I'm only guessing here.)
