I issued my boss a drafting speed challenge    ...how should we go about seeing who's faster?  I thought of copying a floorplan.  We do residential work.  Lemme know how you think we should go about this.

Things your gonna need:
- An impartial judge to judge quality.
- An electronic file "set up" OR a directory "set up" everyone can reference.
- A marked up plan (in red) for each person.

Once everyone is complete with the red have them close out the dwg.
The judge should open the dwg and check the edit time per dwg. (or time the person.) and make a decision based on quality, and speed of completion.

How are you going to Judge speed versus accuracy?  I can draw a line really fast and say I am done.

Draw the plan, print them out,  then check them over together and with another person here with a red pen.....

Not really, it's because I said something about being faster than him, but what slows me down is the lack of Architectural knowledge as compared to him.  That's why he smokes me.  But he does use more buttons than I do, while I key in most all of my commands.
