I just thought I'd post the tidbits I'm finding through the AutoCAD 'Communication Centre' because not everyone will be using it.

Polyline Edit

Published date: 2004-04-23
ID: TP00147

Applies to:
AutoCAD® 2005
AutoCAD® 2004
AutoCAD LT® 2005
AutoCAD LT® 2004

Formerly, when you used Polyline Edit to join a line or arc with other objects, you were prompted to enter Y (for Yes) if you wanted to convert the line or arc into a polyline. By setting the PEDITACCEPT system variable to 1, you can avoid this prompt and proceed directly to joining your line or arc with other objects.

Panning and Zooming in Windows XP

If you are running Windows XP, pan and zoom no longer stop at the edge of the screen. During a pan or zoom, you can drag your cursor at the edge of the monitor to continue to pan or zoom.

I have another, you can click on an object to move it,but hold down the CTRL key and it copies the object you just selected. Also hit the shift key while selecting your objects to trim while using the trim command and you can join the ends of lines together.

Hyposmurf,

I tried your ctrl key thingie and it didn't work, it just moved the object.  Is there some variable that turns this on?  I'm searching my variables files right now.

Happy Friday, everyone.
