Laser Printers?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but most of you probably could add something.

I have gone through a few inkjet printers already and am looking to replace it with a laser printer. A bunch of us use it quite heavily... about 12 users. We use it to print test prints of our CAD drawings, details, etc. and office documents. Are there any brands or models out there some of you could recommend?

Looking for a printer that is:
Black/White
8.5x11 would be sufficient.
11x17 would be great.

Thanks!  :)

We've had better success with our Xerox and Minolta over the couple of HP's we've burned up. They both handle, 8.5x11, 8.5x14 and 11x17

We're using a HP Laserjet 5si. It's been a great workhorse. I think we're close to 500,000 prints on it.

laser printers? Anything with HP on it. BUT I prefer laser sights and ink jet printers. (ink jet sights just don't work.)

We have an HP LaserJet 8000 and have had VERY few problems with it.  I would have to agree with Dent...HP Anything.
Our home office also has a Lexmark Optra N which has done quite well for us.

We bought a copier that had IP access on it.  You can print direct to it for a fraction of the cost of a printer and the speed it great.

standard workhorse 11x17 lasers would be the 5000, the 8000 I believe will do duplex(back 2 back)
we still have 4v's and 4mv's with close to a million sheets or more.
you can still get rebuild kits & toner and can buy for about $300.
I have one @ home and we have 3 in our office plus two 5000
and the 5000 break more then the 4mv's...
