Yet Another Hole in my MAP
« on: June 12, 2008, 10:47:39 PM »
This is my latest accidental discovery about MAP 3D inside of C3D(2008).

Firstly within MAP 3D (2008) they have removed the points tools and terrain tools, much to my suprise! :-o

I always wondered why they would put those tools in a GIS application?

Then I stumble upon an intersting issue with Thresholds in Map Display, they won't. And they will not appear as a right click function, near the view scales as in MAP 3D. However they DO display when one selects Compare Thresholds. So even though one can create Thresholds in C3D with MAP one may not easily choose between them, as one can inside of MAP 3D.

Thanks, yet it does nothing to address the missing Thresholds functionality, nor the C3D interoperability.

Quote from the article:

"...the pleasure to try out the Survey tools the last few nights and so far they are better than nothing but, I’ll leave my comments for another post. "

Better than nothing, I can hardly wait. :lmao:
