Reverse the Direction of an Arc?
« on: June 12, 2008, 01:17:58 PM »
Can a person reverse the direction of an arc so the bearing will read N and E rather than S and W?

With a line I can simply rotate it 180 degrees and achieve this end, but I'm not sure about an arc.

If you convert your arc into a polyline, you can then use the Grading -> Edit Feature Lines -> Reverse function on it and the chord bearing will reverse.  I'm not sure that this is what you are looking for or not.

Place your arc label
Touch it with the mouse
Rt-Click
Reverse label

And have a nice day!

Forgive me if that went over my head. I'm sure it's hilarious though. :loco:

Thanks to both of you. :-)
