Batch Plotting Portrait & Landscape Drawings
« on: March 20, 2008, 03:19:35 PM »
I think I'm wishful thinking here, but is there some way to be able to load a bunch of drawings into a Batch Plotter that may be oriented Portrait OR Landscape and have the software recognize which orientation to have them printed at?

Did that make sense?

Again, I don't think this is possible... maybe this is just a mini-vent.  :)

The only work around I can think of, maybe plot to PDF and then print the pdf?

Maybe this could be modified to recognize if the width is greater than the height and set to plot at landscape....or vise versa.

Won't PUBLISH do that, if you have your page setups defined?

Why yes, yes it will.  You don't even have to have page setups defined, if your layout is set to plot it the way you want it plotted.
