Inserting doors using Architecture 2008
« on: February 11, 2008, 02:00:45 PM »
Running MEP 2008.

Is there a way I can automatically insert doors on walls that never go below a 4" length when next to a miter wall, or even a T-section in walls? I'm no architect, but when I have to recreate floorplans from scratch I use the Architecture 2008 Tool Palettes that's included in my MEP '08 package, and I use the 3D option for gbXML import/export when running calculations and what not, but it seems tedious to always offset these doors 4" when it's code anyways. Thanks all in advance. :)

When you insert a window/door you can use the properties palette (ctrl+1) to set automatic offset distances - see attached.

Is that what you meant?

Amazing. I don't remember that option ever NOT being there since ADT 3.1.
