anybody done a find replace then move lisp

here's the scenario. i got some drawings with sheets like e-4 but our standard is just 1, 2,3 etc. now i wanna change the callouts but they are not done with attribute and are top left justified so when i change the number the text shifts over 1". how could i do a find a replace then retain my selection and move all 1" to the right. or does anyone have a better suggestion???

What version of AutoCAD do you have?  Express Tools for 2004 has a Justify Text command that leaves the text where it is.  I have one that I use quite a bit and I've included it in a macro that I find to be quite handy.  I've posted it before...
