We have a drawing that looks fine on the screen but when you preview or print its text and graphics (an arrowhead for example) is empty, printing only the outline.  I don't deal with annotation any more than my job requires, which to this point involved making the tags, and I didn't see any past threads posted and acad's help didn't help.  Any help here?  It's probably a system variable, right?  Or wrong.

Thanks,
Ryan

Perhaps check your hide plot settings as well as consider there may be 3dfaces and other objects that are above the annotation, obscurring the annotation when the hidden line algorythm is invoked.

Yeah, the hide objects box in page setup was the first place I checked.  I should have included that tid-bit of information in the initial report.  There don't seem to be any objects above it either.  Thanks for the continuing help.

Check the viewport hide status.

Problem solved.  It was the hide option in the viewports properties.  Thanks for all the help and have a great weekend.
