Topic: Creat different sheet sizes PDF

I want to add 5 or 6 special sheet sizes to My PDF Adobe Printer.

I tried to go to printing preferences and then add Adobe PDF page size.  When I type in all my information and I hit add it does not add the page size.

Any thoughts on this

It's actually a Windows setting. For XP, Start-->Printers and Faxes, File-->Server Properties, make your new sizes there.

I tried this And it does not add the page size

We have tight permissions on our machines could it be a permission issue?

If so, then I'm stumped, except to say that you're probably right about permissions.

What about in the pc3 file, setting up coustom sizes there?

No, Adobe is controlled by each computer, even if you have a networked PC3. For whatever reason it doesn't store the drivers like printers do.

I don't see anything on that tab that let's you add different size pages.  Is there an advanced button somewhere?  What's on the Paper tab?

I go to the add button in the JPg I posted earlier and I thought that should be able to add a custom sheet.

Why don't you use pdfcreator... oddly enough it's easier in setting different paper sizes, more off them are predefined). And once you knowhow to use the custom paper format in advanced settings you can even define up to 3meters and a bit in a pdf..
Note: There's a limmit to pdf files paper formats because the width and length is stored in a long or a double.

I think that Add button is to add settings -- not to add paper sizes.

Look at this JPEG 

I click add next to the adobe pdf page sizes

This box displays.  Sure I want to add a page size.  But when I input my info the info does not get saved.

I can not download and or install any software here because of the restrictions on our machines.  So using pdfcreator is not an option.

Shane, check the "Add form" box, then the fields will be activated and you can save your new page sizes.

Finally got it to work. 

The answer is I had to have admin permissions to add these special sheet size to my PDF printer

Darn those permissions...that balance between security & functionality is such a fine line...
