POWERdraft driver from nVidia
« on: December 05, 2007, 11:13:44 AM »
I've installed the powerdraft driver from the nvidia site, it supposedly boosts your 3d display operations by 20%.  However, in my options dialog box it still reverts back to the OpenGL driver.  What am I missing?  I'm running the nVidia Quadro FX 3500 video card with 4GB ram, 10k hard drive and the E6700 2.66GHz processor but cad is slow in 3D.  Thanks for any help.

It would appear you want to adjust your 'adaptive' degradation settings.  Of note, Autodesk decided they don't want us to use Open GL any longer in favor of Direct X (Microsoft) as they are a partner with them. However you should still be able to use the Open GL drivers.
Be your Best
