Drainage Idea - 2

Sizing Pipes with Labels.

Based on the above information; I know, maybe you can or not, but have a pipe label attached or get data from a parcel data.
If there is a way to have the parcel area (watershed basin) link with a weighed C Coef. I hope we can create profile or plan label with an equation which will tell you the pipe size you will need, using Rational Method.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks!

With those expressions I should be able to place them into a table...

I've tried adding a parcel ref to a pipe label, it didn't work well. But I tried it back in beta or pre SP1 or something so it might be worth trying again.  The trick is that you can't embed expressions from one type of object to another anymore.  So any expressions done under parcels wouldn't be available in a pipe label.  Also, ideally, you would be able to mix parcel info with pipe info in an expression and that doesn't work either.  It seems possible, but I haven't gotten it to work.  That doesn't mean that you couldn't.  I just ran out of patience and had other priorities when I was trying it.

Hey... Heres another Idea... like you said. We can have one table for all the info from the parcel table, and another table for input with pipes, in that table. Fianlly, type in the parcel data to the pipe table as a check and you are done...

Is that possible???

remember that object types cannot be combined in civil 3d tables nor can things be typed into civil 3d tables.
