« on: July 29, 2004, 02:30:20 PM »
What I need to do is make some text that is made up of closed lines so I can extrude it into a solid.

Any thoughts would be of some great help.

Thanks

I believe you could do this by using some outline font, then use Express Tools > Explode Text.
Just an idea

That's the way I would do it, as well, M-dub.

What if I do not have the EXpress tools?  I am on Autocad 2004?  They must not be loaded on my machine.

Thanks For the info

If you have 2004, load the CD once again and look for the express tools. They are on the cd.
