Is there a way to default the width of the Edit Attributes dialog box? I need it to show the whole prompt and now I have to stretch it to show it all every time it appears......

Try the registry setting under the user profile... there may be a setting for the dialog there...

Yeh thats one freeky looking hound.Following on from MTEXT editor questions anyone know why the indents/tab markers at the top dont always line text up correctly.Say I want two lines of text indented to the same amount,I'll indent one then write the next and indent it,to find I cant line up the text with the text above I just indented, whatever I do!

[wild guess] that could be to do with the font style you're using ~ some fonts are designed so that each separate character occupies the same width on screen, other fonts are designed just to look nice and character widths vary. [/wild guess]
Even some of the "standard" Acad fonts don't have equal widths. I think Romans is one of the fonts that does have equal spacing.
