ACAD 2008 interface problem

Hi Guys

I have messed something up with (maybe) workspace and now when I File/Save  or  File/Open it jumps stright into the command window. I now need to type the entire path and file name to open an existing DWG or SaveAs to back up. There is no option to browse for a file.

Anyone else been here? Sure its something I have altered..,. :-( Duh

Type in "filedia" and set it to "1".

TVM Mark, upon further searching appears a common mistake:((

Wonder how I managed it in the first place? I definately didn't issue filedia 0

certain routines (No I dont know which ones for sure) change that setting to 0 while they are running.  If you cancel out of that routine before it finishes, you get the problem.  My guys here find it all the time, but can never seem to tell me what they were doing to cause it.
