If you have OpenDCL RC4 installed, you should receive a tray icon bubble notifying you that an update is available when you load the OpenDCL Runtime in AutoCAD. Stay tuned for OpenDCL 4.1 Alpha 1 in a few days. Alpha 1 will include preliminary support for AutoCAD 2008 x64 (64-bit).

Big congrats and gratitude to Owen, Kerry, Barry, David and others who've committed to work hard and tirelessly to ensure the dream of OpenDCL would come to fruition.

The couple apps I've made so far with this tool have been received with great accolades, for which I can take little of the credit.

OpenDCL quite simply ROCKS and makes me look good ( literally / figuratively ).

If Owen is up to it we need to start thinking of a way to reimburse him for additions: like palettes!!  I would certainly be willing to pony up (monetarily) for some enhancements!

Owen, really a wonderful job.  If your ever in Tampa - your drinks are on me for the duration of your stay.  :wink:

We'll come up with some way to make sure OpenDCL is sufficiently funded. I keep hoping some bean counter type will magically appear and offer to manage that part of it. Hey, you never know...

If I ever get to Tampa, I'll take you up on that offer! :)

I have tried to download the current release several times, but the download will not even start.

Has anyone else had problems downloading?

You have to click on a few more links then you think you would...

It seems (at least from my end) that the McLean VA server is operating very slowly.  Seattle server sent it to me straight away.
