Array action, no rows?
« on: July 05, 2007, 01:50:40 PM »
Okay, Here I go again with dynamic block problems.  I am trying to create block of a Glu-lam beam that has horizontal lines every 3/4".  So I was trying to array those horizontal lines to fill in the beam as it gets bigger.  When I try to do an array action, it only gives me the options of "distance between columns" and not "distance between rows".  What am I missing, or is there an easier way to get the results that I need?

Design your glb sideways, and then have it rotated upon insertion.

Yeah that is a little ambiguous. The direction of the array depends on the direction of the parameter that the array action is associated to

Hmm, well, I tried it using  perameters going in both x and y directions, but creating it sideways just might work for now....Thanks.
