SSM - Can't Create Subset - "Name Already Exists"
« on: February 27, 2007, 02:04:22 PM »
Has anyone come across this message (see below)?

I've created a Sheet Set using VBA that scans a particular set of folders and adds certain layout tabs.  It works greate, however, if I need to manually add a subset, I can't.   What would prevent me from adding a subset?  I'm the only one who has the SS open, the database isn't locked and I'm NOT trying to add a subset that has the name of an existing subset.  So what's the dilly-o??

It seems like it is behaving similarly to a selection set that exists...
Add.item instead of create new?
Prior to manually adding a subset, can/should you check for the existence.

But I'm just guessing :?

After doing an Export to Excel/Import from Excel setup I know you have to check when you Lock the SS and Unlock it. In order to add new things you have to have it Locked, then Unlock when you are done.
