design center question
« on: May 04, 2004, 03:31:07 PM »
i am trying to insert the elevation label but i want to be able to enter a scale factor for model space insertion but it doesn't let me. secondly when i insert the block i put in the elevation number and put a.f.f. as suffix but only a.f.f. shows up the elevation is plus/minus 0. also if i double click on it it's not editable. if i explode it twice i can then edit it. what do i need to change for it to insert the way i want. i looked in units and messed with the design center part but it seems to have no affect. my units are fractional. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok. If I read your question correctly then the actual size of the elevation block is controlled in the drawing setup under the Desktop pull down, amend the annotation plot size to the text size that you require.
To edit the block right click on it and select elevation label modify and change as required.
It may be helpful if you could either post the elevation block you are using or email me the drawing as it stands.
