2007 Attribute Editor Bug
« on: October 27, 2006, 07:11:25 AM »
Has anyone had any issues with the attribute editor in 2007 ?

I came across this bug this morning...
The image on the left is from 2004, the one on the right from 2007.
I have the same drawing open in both versions at the same time.

I am using blocks where some but not all of the attributes are invisible.
The editor from 2004 (left) shows all my attributes and values in the correct order. (even the invisible ones)
2007 (right) has mixed up the attribute prompts and tags and omitted some of the attributes.
2007 seems to have missed out the invisible Tags but included the invisible tagstrings, which leaves me with a few attributes at the end I cannot access manually.
Luckily I am using values programatically, but if I were entering them manually, I could have been really screwed up, especially if I wasn't paying attention.

Keep yer eyes open

Could there be a new system variable that controlls the edit/ no edit of those attributes?

It's not the controlling of the editing, it's the fact that it seems to have omitted the invisible Tags but included the invisible Tag strings, which could confuse the user leading to incorrect data entry, plus it means that there are a few attributes at the end which I cannot access manually

I think it's a bug... and a pretty major one at that

Oh I see now.
Yes a major bug.

Until it's fixed you could replace the command.
