well I started this new job...and I am the cad manager.... :-D

my dilemma is taking over someone elses work...and I am in Block Hell....they are all over the place....any suggestions on how to rope them in

A VB app would be cool.

Pseudo Code

- Search drives for dwgs
- Sort em based on criteria
- Put em in their prospective directories

Their are lots of code fragments here (as well as other places) that will get you started.

I was in a situation like yours a couple of years ago. I have ended up redrawing MOST of our blocks and filing the "approved" blocks in a locked down area so the originals cannot be edited.
Thanks for explaining the word "many" to me, it means a lot.
