polylines (how to convert them to) LWPOLYLINE

Is there a varible to change to make any polyline a lwpolyline? right now, when i create a polyline and list it, it shows me all the vertexs like a 3dpoly.

Or do you have any other info that might make it convert?

See PLINETYPE variable, also CONVERT command
