Lineweights (.ctb & .stb independent)
« on: May 08, 2012, 03:59:18 PM »
Sorry for starting a similar thread, but was trying to get some info lineweights that has NOTHING to do with using .stb or .ctb.

For a Architectural floorplan you use in the 'background' do you put it on on a lineweight like .18mm or less?

I thought I read somewhere to be safe not to go less than .18mm(.007") to be safe for most printers.

Do you screen those?

If you have used .25mm for existing objects and .5mm for new objects did that produce results you were pleased with?

my preferred screening is 252 in 0.005". Our CTB has 252 set for object color, but I believe that is equivalent to 50%.
Our new walls are 0.021" for 1/8" scale plans typically.
