Does anybody know if there is going to be a new Harnessing Civil 3d 2011 Book? I decided to go buy one, and since 2011 is just coming out i'm just wondering if i should wait a little and get the new book.

Replying to my old post. The 2011 is out but it seems it is listed as a 416 pages book, while 2010 lists more than 800 pages. Could this information be accurate? I try to find soe email to contact the authro or the publisher but there doesnt to seem to be any avaialble. But the table  of contents seem to be richer, so why is it listed a book with half the pages from the previous book, that's odd.

Could someone comment on this cause i'm really interested in pruchasing this book?

The page count disparity is most likely related to this:

Strategically developed exercises printed within the book are supported by over 600 pages of online text emphasizing industry best practices. Online material is available with the access code within the book.

We've discussed this in the past, but i am located on Europe and cannot attend workshops, or pay travelling expenses. I'm just a fairly new individual that recently graduated college. All i'm looking for atm is some book to help me cope with the all-around stuff.

as a speaker at AU this year I have a couple of 'free' passes to AU virtual if you would like one let me know, and I'll figure out how they work and send you one.

Yeah sure, i would be interested in something like that. Will that be like a live seminar that i would have to attend online at a specific time?

When will that take place?

yes, it is on-line, however in some places I think there might also be some of this going on at 'larger' vendor centers...most of the classes are being offered through AU Virtual this year.
I'll figure out the pass, and send you a link in a PM...
