Honing your Multitasking Abilities
« on: September 26, 2008, 01:51:04 PM »
Using the Autodesk DGs has become a great exercise in multitasking skills.

Go to Autodesk's website, click on a discussion group.  Open a new tab and browse to the Swamp and read a few threads.  Hey, the Autodesk DG topic list finally popped open!  Click on a thread.  Go back to the Swamp, reply to a few threads.  Hey, the Autodesk thread just opened!  Read the Autodesk thread, and click on the "Back to thread list" button.  Open up the email reader and answer a few emails.  Hey, the Autodesk thread list finally popped up again!  Click on a new thread in the Autodesk DG.  Open a new browser tab and read the latest headlines and news stories about the election and the economy, including a dissertation on the last three years of failures to fix the housing problem.  Hey, the Autodesk thread finally popped open!  Find an interesting post in the thread, and hit the "Reply" button.  Open another tab to Google Earth, and follow the Yangtze river from the ocean to its headwaters at the maximum available magnification.  Hey, the reply finally went through on the Autodesk site!  Click the "Back to thread list" button...

And so it goes...
