Vista + AutoCAD?

Doesn't sound like they work together at all, which is not surprising, when has Microsoft made any OS backwards compatible.

Maybe with Vista?  Have you searched "compatibility toolpack" or whatever they're calling it.

FWIW - DataCAD works on Vista, but there are a few troubles here and there.  DataCAD LLC has had a copy of Vista for a while now to help correct these problems.

I need a straight answer!! does Autocad LDD5 or 7 run on VISTA??? I have a new computer coming next week with vista on it and i need to know if I need to come in happy or call in sick!  :evil:

Best advice is to keep your old systems up and running for at least a few days.  Warn them that brand new computers that don't work give you gas and they may give you the whole week off just in case . . .
